I emailed Tony for advice on finishing the Danaher. Here's what he wrote:
Once you have it locked on to squeeze it tighter. You want to drive your elbows down to your hips, like when you are squeezing the RNC. You can also puff your chest out and drive it forward. You can also walk the free arm that you have on his back up towards your face. You can also sit out towards his legs and lean towards the opponent's head. Also if you can't finish maybe the problem is your arm is not deep enough; grab the back of his head with your other arm and shoot the choking arm in deeper, then try locking it on and squeezing again. Also as you are locking it up really push his head down and into you in order to get the choke deep from the get go. With tougher guys you might have to keep up a long constant squeeze to finish them, so don't blow your whole gas tank.
